Eddie Harmon

Edward Harmon, a Salisbury, Maryland native has been constantly working in the Gospel industry, locally and abroad, for the past 30 years.  He began his journey in late 1986, gaining his FCC announcers license in December, 1987 at Radio Station 1470, WJDY Salisbury, MD.  He was discovered by the infamous Dj’s, Vic Sample, The late K.J. Holiday and Jaye Sterling, at WJDY launching his 2 hour “Sea Of Inspiration Radio Show”.  This sent waves of inspiration in everyones direction.
After a few years, Eddie began the creation and structure of another local station, The Salisbury Educational Broadcasting Foundation where he worked the Early Morning, Late Night and Sunday Morning Shifts.  He dedicated 10 years to this same schedule.  In the early 2000’s, he returned back to the Clear Channel Rejoice, 1470 WJDY AM for a four hour Saturday Show.  That continued through 2007.
Throughout the years, Eddie Harmon has and will continue to do concert promotions, studio voice overs, commercials, concert hosting and more.  He attends multiple gospel award shows and conferences, The Stellar Awards in particular.
Luckily, Edward is heard every Sunday morning on the “Sea of Inspiration” Gospel programming right here on Live 97.5.  It can be heard each week from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm.
This year marks 30 years of the “Sea of Inspiration” continuing the journey of sending waves of inspiration in your every direction!
