ItzYourzRadio began on the airwaves in February of 2006, as an outlet for local, independent and underground hip-hop and neo-soul artists. It’s popularity grew, as well as the platform. In 2015, ItzYourzRadio went from being a radio show to a 24/7 RADIO STATION, through the Tunein app.
With the launch of Live 97.5, ItzYourzRadioLive (formally ItzYourzRadio) made it’s way back to FM radio on Sunday, February 26, 2017. ItzYourzRadioLive airs 4pm-7pm, each Sunday. Hosted by Dondre’ “Donni-Oh!” Phoenix and Jonathan “J-Mo” Molock of Livenation and The Jonathan Molock Agency, the show includes the The Indie Artist Spotlight, which features music from local artists and in-studio guest appearances from positive contributors in the community. Also included are, Sunday School (Old School R&B), Underground Hip-Hop, Neo Soul, Word in the Street (Urban News), Who Got Da Props? (Trivia) and The POV Sports wRap with Devon “POV” Mason. FREE concert tickets to the hottest shows in the DMV are given away on the show as well.
